Maria Angelova Sapundjieva was born on June 6, 1969 in Varna. In 1992, she graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Arts and Sciences "Krustyo Sarafov", in the class of Prof. Atanas Ilkov.
Theatrical career:
After graduating in 1992, Sapundjieva was part of the troupes of the First Private Theater "La Strada" and the Small City Theater "Zad Kanala" in the period until around 2000. In 2000, she joined the troupe of the Ivan Vazov National Theater, where she performed in numerous productions.
