Konstantin Ivanov Slavchev was born on 17 July 1976 in Sofia and, from an early age, demonstrated a serious interest in both sports and music. He graduated from the sports school „Levski-Spartak“ and even completed his military service in a sports unit, which attests to his discipline and physical dedication. In 1999, he made his musical breakthrough with the debut song „Black Rose“, which catapulted him straight to the top of the pop-folk scene and turned him into one of the most promising names in the genre.
In the following years, Konstantin established himself as a consistent presence in the music industry — with a vocal style that combines the popularity of pop-folk with personal charisma. In 2006, he won the first Bulgarian VIP Brother, playing smartly and with an appropriate public identity — his victory was decisive, and this further amplified his media image.
Professionally and business-wise, Konstantin is also a co-owner of a well-known chain of establishments — a fact that highlights his entrepreneurial streak beyond the musical stage. On the personal front, in 2010 he married Nadezhda Stoyanova. The two have built a family with two children — daughter Mariyana and son Aleksandar, and have maintained a stable and harmonious public image. Additionally, a well-known detail is his first cousin — the singer Liyana, which underscores the musical connection in his family.
For more than two decades now, Konstantin has remained among the recognizable and respected figures in Bulgarian pop-folk. His strong debut, his victory in a reality format, and his contribution to the entertainment industry shape the image of an artist who knows how to combine creativity with a sustained presence and a stable public stance. His career is a signal not only of musical success, but also of an ability to adapt and to develop ideas beyond the stage.
