Daniel Peev, more often known as „Dundy“, was born on October 20, 1989 in Varna. He graduated in Acting from NATFIZ „Krastyo Sarafov“ in the class of Prof. Stefan Danailov, in 2012. From his school years he developed an interest in theater — he took part in a theater school in Varna and began appearing on stage already in his youth.
As an actor, Daniel has been part of quite a few theatrical productions — „Desperate Husbands“ is among the notable titles in his repertoire. In „Desperate Husbands“ he takes the stage together with Boyko Krastanov and Yavor Baharov, in the comedic play by Aleksi Makar, Jerome Daran and Stefan Myura, directed by Vasil Duev.
The production breaks through not only in Sofia, but also on tour — in cities such as Varna and Dobrich. „Desperate Husbands“ showcases his ability to combine sensitivity to character with comedic moments, and to handle dialogue and dynamics in front of an audience.
Following the success of the first installment, Daniel Peev also takes part in the second part: „Desperate Husbands 2: Spliced“. The show builds on the storyline — here the characters are already married and find themselves in even more unexpected situations; the comedy remains vivid, with even more humor, conflicts, and absurd twists. Daniel once again takes a key place in the ensemble, demonstrating growth in his acting presence — both in the tones of comedy and in more nuanced emotional moments.
Beyond theater, Daniel has notable roles on television as well — among them the most distinctive is the role of Joro (bellboy) in the series „Sunny Beach“. He also appears in the comedy series „The Life of Joro“. These roles earn him popularity among viewers and give him the opportunity to develop an ease in performance, combined with character.
As an artist, Daniel Peev stands out with a wide range — from a theatrical line to an on-screen persona, from mainstream show business to more intimate audiences. He knows how to balance between humor and emotion, between the visual and the verbal, as well as to adapt his stage skills according to the situation. In „Desperate Husbands 2: Spliced“ his progress is evident — in stage presence, confidence, and interaction with colleagues.
Daniel Peev continues to attract attention as an artist who is not afraid to experiment — theatrical genres, comedic formats, television — and steers his career with a clear focus on being genuine before the audience. With his participation in these two productions he shows that comedy for him is not just entertainment, but a means for dialogue with the feelings, expectations, and absurdities of everyday life.
