Enrique Iglesias with his only concert in the Balkans on September 20 in Sofia
Special guests of the evening – the Bulgarian band MOLETS
After a seven-year hiatus, global Latin superstar Enrique Iglesias returns to Sofia with his only concert in the Balkans this summer. On 20 September 2025, the „Vasil Levski“ Stadium will become the stage for one of the most significant music events in Bulgaria.
With over 180 million albums sold, 154 number-one hits, and 27 songs that topped the Hot Latin Songs Chart, Iglesias is recognized by Billboard as the most successful Latin artist of all time. His career includes memorable collaborations with names such as Pitbull, Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, and Juan Luis Guerra, and his concerts are known for their spectacle, strong emotional charge, and deep connection with the audience.
The Bulgarian act who will take the stage before Iglesias has also been announced. It is the Bulgarian band MOLETS, which in an exceptionally short time has established itself as one of the brightest and most original phenomena in contemporary Bulgarian music. Created by Yuli Slavchev and Kris Makarov, the duo impresses with a distinctive sound – live instruments, trap beats, and poetic lyrics. From their first performance in March 2022 before just 120 people to a sold-out Arena 8888 two years later, MOLETS have made an impressive journey. They are recipients of ten BG Radio awards, becoming the most awarded group in a single year in the ceremony's history. Their debut album „ALBUM“ has reached platinum status, and their joint projects with artists such as V:irgo, ROBI, and The Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices further cement their strong presence on the music scene. Their appearance as the opening act for Enrique Iglesias is another important step in their career and clear proof of their growing international potential.

Enrique Iglesias arrives in Sofia in the middle of a new chapter for his career. In 2024 he released Final (Vol. 2), a bilingual studio album that he has described as closing the album‑making portion of his journey. It features fresh collaborations and rhythms across pop, bachata, reggaeton and dembow, including the singles Así Es La Vida with María Becerra, Fría, and La Botella with El Alfa. Fans in Bulgaria will be among those hearing these songs live alongside the global anthems that built his legacy.
In recent tours he’s performed with a tight live band, big‑screen visuals and long stretches on the B‑stage to get closer to the crowd—so expect movement across the pitch, confetti breaks and plenty of call‑and‑response. The Sofia date also rides the momentum of his blockbuster run with Ricky Martin and Pitbull, which reintroduced his catalog to a new wave of concertgoers in 2023–2024.
Opening the evening, MOLETS bring the most talked‑about sound in Bulgarian pop right now. The duo’s 2024 haul at the BG Radio Music Awards included BG Album for ALBUM, plus BG Lyrics and BG Video for Tcyaloto vreme (directed by Kris Zahariev)—proof that their blend of live instruments, rap‑tinged beats and poetic hooks resonates far beyond streaming counts. Their set is a sharp, contemporary counterpoint to Enrique’s global hits.
Vasil Levski National Stadium sits by Borisova Gradina park in the city center, with the Vasil Levski Stadium metro station immediately adjacent for quick access. The venue address is 38 Evlogi i Hristo Georgievi Blvd. On major concert days, local authorities may restrict traffic on the boulevard—public transport or rideshare drop‑offs near the metro are typically the fastest options. Arrive early for security checks and to catch MOLETS’ full set.
