A career measured in sing‑alongs. Konstantin’s story on stage started in 1999, when he broke through with the pop‑folk evergreen “Black Rose.” Since then he has released a run of albums that mark different phases of Bulgarian mainstream music: Vurni se (2001), Kato sŭn (2003), Chervilo (2004), Obadi mi se (2006), the self‑titled Konstantin (2010) and Dokato sŭrtseto bie (2016). Two decades on, these tracks still ignite crowds—expect thousands of voices to carry the choruses.
Off stage, Konstantin (full name Konstantin Ivanov Slavchev) became a household name in 2006, when he won the very first season of the celebrity reality show VIP Brother. Born in Sofia on 17 July 1976, he has stayed close to the city that raised him, building a catalogue that blends club‑ready rhythms with unabashed love songs and robust, lived‑in vocals. His recordings and TV appearances with the Payner/Planeta ecosystem helped define the sound of the 2000s and 2010s for a generation of listeners.
